Today after breakfast, discover the rich historical past of the town.
Owing to its royal rendition of being a part of “ The Silk Route”, Mandawa houses various grand Havelis. Originally, these wonderful Havelis were created as townhouses by the landed gentry and wealthy businessmen. These Havelis have grand affairs with terraces and several courtyards which served to provide shade as well as keep the houses light and well ventilated. These Havelis are decorated with fresco paintings on the walls and ceilings, have many artefacts from the old times. The prominent ones are Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, Jhunjhunwala Haveli and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. 
The best way to see these Havelis is to negotiate the town’s network of narrow lanes on foot, where one can also shop for paintings and wooden items such as furniture, toys, amazing antiques etc.

In the morning, drive to Gajner en route Bikaner, also called ‘ The Camel Country’.
A Stopover at the Junagarh Fort, famed for being a reminder of the opulence of medieval times. Bounded by a moat, Junagarh fort has a prodigious structure. The palace houses some wonderful edifice in its boundaries. Structured in marble and red sandstone, Fort has an astonishing collection of kiosks, windows, balconies and courtyards that look stunning. The architectural style is greatly influenced by the Mughal pietra dura artwork.
The Junagarh Fort is called "a paradox between medieval military architecture and beautiful interior decoration.”
Continue the journey to Gajner Palace.
The Palace is a beautiful historical building located adjacent to a sanctuary and standing at the edge of a beautiful artificial lake, called Gajner Lake. This huge structure is a unison of typical Rajput and colonial architecture in red sandstone. The palace perfectly showcases the magnanimous culture and many shades of history.
